Welcome to October’s youth update! We’ve got a lot of great stuff lined up this month. Scroll down to check out upcoming events, ways to participate, and all the news you need to stay connected.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make our 2nd Annual Tribal Survival an amazing day this past Sunday. I especially want to thank our incredible youth leaders for their commitment, planning and prep work and energy. The afternoon was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and a color war that left us all a little messy in the best way possible. We're already looking forward to doing it again next year, and you can check out some of the best moments right here!

We are excited to invite all our youth families out for a fun fall gathering on Saturday, October 10th! We’ll kick things off at Johnson’s Pumpkin Farm at 3:00 PM, which is located at 4715 N Portsmouth Rd. The farm visit is free, with minor costs only if your family decides to do the corn maze or grab some snacks.
Once we wrap up at the farm, we're inviting everyone over to our home at 1288 N. Knight Rd. Essexville, MI, for dinner, a bonfire, games, and fellowship. This is a great event to invite friends to, so feel free to spread the word. Just make sure to register online so we have an accurate headcount for dinner!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 25th, because Glow Games are taking over the FMC from 5:30 to 7:30 PM! We're planning an action-packed evening of friendly competition and fun times. Plan to wear a fluorescent or white shirt and bring along any glow gear you want. Whether you're in it to win it or just there for the fun, we'd love to have you join us and invite your friends!

Registration is now open! You can find more information and sign up by clicking HERE

This Sunday we begin our new series! We’ll explore what it means to have a Biblical Worldview. Throughout this series, we’ll discover how God’s Word influences every area of our lives. Our hope is that these lessons spark meaningful discussions and encourage students to view the world through a biblical lens. Let’s grow and learn together as we dive into these important topics!

This month’s featured parent resource is Axis.org, a fantastic ministry helping Christian families navigate today’s fast-paced culture. I especially encourage parents to subscribe to The Culture Translator, a free weekly email that decodes the latest teen slang, news, and pop culture trends. It’s practical, grounded in the gospel, and gives you great questions to spark meaningful convos with your teens.
