Happy New Year!

I hope you’re doing well and that you had a great Christmas and  may you have a fun and safe New Year with your family and friends. It was nice to take a break and enjoy the season, but I have to say I really missed youth group and seeing everyone each week! Now that the new year is here, I’m excited to see what God has planned for us. Thank you for being such a part of our youth ministry. It is a blessing to walk with you and your families as we learn more about God and follow Jesus together.
I'm trying a new format for our newsletter to make it easier to stay up-to-date on important happenings. As always, we value your feedback. Please feel free to share any comments or suggestions as they come up.

How We Got the Bible Series

Bible Reading Devotional



As the new year begins, I'd like to invite our youth and leaders to join me in exploring God’s Word together. This Sunday, January 4th, you can pick up a copy of Foundations, a 260-day Bible-reading plan and devotional, when we meet for youth group.
This is designed to be more than just checking off a box. Foundations is flexible and meaningful, helping you engage with Scripture rather than just read it. There are only five readings per week, which gives the option to take weekends off or use that time to catch up.
The plan encourages real reflection and connection with God’s Word. Click the link to preview the devotional. I’m excited to begin this with you and to see how God speaks to each of us through His Word in the coming year.

This is a great churchwide event for the whole family. We hope to see many of you there!


 Our WhiteOut Winter Retreat is coming up at Pine Ridge Bible Camp in Cedar Springs, MI. If you’ve signed up, please plan to meet at the church on Friday, January 30th. We’ll meet back at the church on Sunday, February 1st. We will have exact times as we get closer, but it will be late afternoon after the school day.

We’ll send out a packing list and more details as the event gets closer, so watch for that information. We’re really looking forward to this time away together! We’ll dive into God’s Word, worship together, and enjoy all the winter activities the camp has to offer. It’s going to be a great weekend!





Please save the date for our annual Youth Family Super Bowl Party. This is always a fun night filled with fun, laughter, fellowship, food, and of course, some football! More info to come.
