Have you ever thought about where the Bible actually comes from? We call it “God’s Word,” but how did it go from God’s mind to the pages we read today, or even to the apps on our phones?

This Sunday,  we’re starting a new series about where the Bible comes from. The Bible is much more than just a history book. From beginning to end, it tells the most incredible rescue story ever written: how God reaches out to people and leads us to Jesus, our Redeemer. Through His Word, we meet the One who saves us, and through His story, we find our own.

What We’ll Explore Together:

What is the Bible? Why did God choose to speak to us through written words in the first place?

How was it written? We’ll look at how God inspired people to write the Bible and how He used them to share His message of life and hope with the world.

How was it preserved? How can we be sure the Bible we have today still shares the message God wanted thousands of years ago? We’ll see how God made sure His Word was passed down and translated faithfully through the generations.

Why these books? Who chose which books are in the Bible, and how do we know they made the right choices? We’ll talk about the Canon of Scripture and the careful steps that led to the Bible we have now.

This series goes beyond facts and dates. I’ve planned it to be visual-based and full of discussion. Students can ask anything they’ve wondered about. I hope that this series helps our youth become more confident in the Bible, and I’m praying that God uses it to help our young people trust His Word more and grow closer to Him.
