Welcome to our February youth newsletter! I hope this finds you and your family doing well. I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for our group this month!

NEW TEACHING SERIES

Our group just finished  our series: How We Got The Bible and Why We Can Trust It. We learned about the inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture and saw how God has protected His Word over the centuries. We can trust that the Bible we have today is the message God first gave to the world.

We’ll be starting a new series in Philippians on February 15th. I pray that God will speak to us through His Word and show us how to live in a way that honors Him.

EVENTS

Winter Retreat
We just got back from our winter retreat at Pine Ridge Bible Camp, and it was a wonderful weekend. Everyone had a lot of fun, and we also had some meaningful group discussions about growing in Christ. We talked about how we can support each other in walking closer to the Lord and with one another. Thank you for praying for everyone who attended. It really was a special time building and strengthening relationships! Check out some of the highlights by clicking the link to the right.
Family Super Bowl Party
Join us as we host a Super Bowl party in the FMC and watch the Seahawks take on the Patriots! We will have an open gym, games in The Den, and the game on the big screen in The Loft. I would encourage you to come even if you’re not that into football. There will be plenty of good fun and fellowship. Please bring an appetizer to share and any board games you'd like to play. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. We hope to see you there!

Please be sure to celebrate those in our group with February birthdays!

PARENT RESOURCE

Axis.org

I want to invite you to check out a resource that helps Christian parents understand the ever-changing cultural landscape their teens are growing up in. The resource is gospel-centered and focuses on tackling tough issues in a biblical and relational way. Though I have not read every article, I have been encouraged by this resource so far and thought it might be helpful for your family as well.
